New World will focus on technical issues in February update

  • Amazon Games has updated the New World website to give the community a peek at what's in store for February's MMORPG. Rather than adding new content, the developers chose to focus on addressing some of the game's more pressing issues, including some general fixes and combat updates.

Here are the quests and issues the New World team is currently addressing in the game: Fixed a bug where quickly dropping and picking up items could cause them to disappear from bags and inventories. Fixed an issue where collision geometry could disappear at region boundaries. To prevent Juniper Berries' limited-time bags from being exploited, and to give players a layer of progression and the potential for New World Coins at the end of the game, the team has updated the New World Coins reward payout.

Secondly, the development team has completely overhauled the housing system and the way data is stored, which is to prevent players from losing houses or items. Also fixed an issue where players could not quickly go home or respawn at home after logging back into the desktop from the exit. The weekly Mutator schedule rotation may not be possible, but they added extra code to help players track down issues.

Fixed a bug where the UI could briefly incorrectly select an incorrect item after scrolling. Now, wherever the cursor is currently when you click, the item is selected. Void Gauntlet - Fixed an issue where fixing dodge would reset your minimum active cooldown. Rapier - Fixed an issue where wrapping the rapier after triggering an evasion would cause the player to gain New World Coins. Ice Gauntlet - Fixed an issue where Ice Gauntlet's Punishing Storm would increase damage to all players and not just Ice Storm's.

Finally, although the development team has not brought us more fresh content, we still have to insist on collecting Cheap New World Coins. The best way is to buy New World Coins on IGGM.
