The latest financial statement, it made clear that games for PS4 will be gone by 2025 cheap d2r items. This doesn't mean the older PS4 games will not be available for purchase, however Sony will definitely end the release of new titles on the platform in the near future.
Instead, by 2025, Sony has estimated that most of its revenues from games will come out of PlayStation 5, with titles on PC as well as mobile bringing around a quarter of its earnings.
In general, this should not be a surprise given that the PS5 will be Sony's primary future focus for years to be. However, it's important to note that even at this moment, PS4 PS4 is a device that Sony is still producing and releasing games on. In fact, the biggest PlayStation game, God of War Ragnarok is scheduled to release on PS4 when it is released.
At some point in the next couple of years, Sony will likely end with a major announcement related to the PS4 and the official conclusion of its life. As we've learned however, this announcement is likely to be made in 2025 or so, so be sure to prepare accordingly.
