Although there are many great things about NBA 2K23 MyCAREER this year with its exciting quests, such as There's A Cole World, some players are struggling with a serious bug NBA 2K23 MT Coins. We have experienced this issue in our own NBA 2K23 MyCAREER save, and it is apparent whenever you attempt to play the next NBA game causes an all-game freeze.
After trying a variety of methods, we've stumbled upon one that worked and cleared up all of the freezes in our MyCAREER save.It seems like the issue here is connected to the clothes your MyPLAYER wears, and the freeze happens just prior to the pre-game fashion walk triggers.Shop now: Officially licensed NBA Apparel & Gear at NBA Store.This bug was discovered by players who are working on the Palace Intrigue and Courting Calloway quests in The City, so it's not known which is the cause.
There are a couple of inventory items such as those seen in the image below that have plus signs indicating that they're a brand-related bonus, but do not have the icon as well as some that were linked to earlier quests may have triggered this.Before starting at our following NBA basketball game we removed the following items:We aren't sure the specific item that caused the issue, but they do appear to be the culprit. Calloway's Court items seem most likely since they were the ones that had most recently received.
In any case, if you're experiencing this issue during the Courting Calloway or Palace Intrigue quests, we'd recommend taking the entire quest off following a game restart to see if it resolve the bug.For us, these removals were able to prevent the game's freeze from occurring and allowed the MyCAREER save game to continue without issue.2K will hopefully have an update in the near future with some sort of permanent fix however this solution will be able to keep the problem at bay until that time.
